In under two weeks time, we will be entering the gates of Copenhell for the tenth year in a row. As many might have noticed, the tenth edition of Copenhell tickets ran out faster than any other year and with more than forty names on the spot of Refshaleøen, Copenhagen people from all over the world will be participating like none of the previous years.
Before the festival
As tradition by now, Pumpehuset in Copenhagen and Copenhell offers you the opportunity of getting your wristband for the festival on before the gates open. On Monday the 17th of June and Tuesday the 18th of June between 14:00 and 20:00 you can be one of the smart ones that in the end, saves time from standing in the big line when the festival opens and walk straight inside.
Getting to the festival
Traveling from Christianshavn (Metro) station that is the nearest and easiest station nearby is simple. The bus line 9A from that station has a final destination just right between the camping area (Sønder Hoved) and a few meters from the festival gates at Refshaleøen.
If you are traveling from the other side of Denmark as from North Jutland and Fyn, then koncertbussen.dk will be taking care of that and will be bringing you safely to and from the festival and at the same time, moody music will be played while cold beers are to be bought all the way. Traveling by taxi to the festival area is also ideal and in that case, Copenhell offers a 20% discount code on your first trip if you download the app "TAXA 4x35" and write "COPENHELL2019". TAXA 3x35 will be available during the entire festival and is located only 350 meters from the festival area right beside (Refshalevej 147).
The discount code can only be used once by each person and is only available for paying with the credit card or mobilpay in the app. The code is only working during the festival days and only from and to Copenhell.

Pandæmonium stage // 23:00
As the opening act for the first official festival day at Copenhell 2019, four women will be giving everything they got. The Danish doom metallers Konvent is currently in the studio working on their new material to top their 2017 demo.
Pandæmonium stage // 13.30
Tool will be back on Danish soil after their long-awaited return. As their new album is coming to an end after many years, the band has finally found themselves touring again. As for the many different statements online, we can only hope for new material to be brought for us to see live. Helvíti // 22:30
Closing the first official day of the tenth edition of Copenhell is in a great manner. The relatively new international death metal band Vltimas has just released their debut album "Something Wicked Marches In", that has even been a great success in the Danish metal scene. This show will be a bummer to miss. Hades // 00:15
Friday will be evoked by the Swedish death metallers Unleashed. The band released their 13th album "The Hunt for White Christ" last year and is at the moment touring around festivals. Start the second day by listening to Viking cultured anti-religion metal that still has its original sound. Pandæmonium // 13:45
Blackened death metal from Austrian owns Belphegor is set to close off Friday night. For many who will be experiencing them for the first time, the show itself will be enthralling and even engrossing, while the number of stage props needs no further explanation. The band will be performing a special 2019 ceremony called "Ritus Incendium Diaboli" with fire, bone sculptures, and sulfur.

The international experimental folk-band Heilung will be making their way to this years Copenhell. A feeling of healing and releasing is honest. With their medieval and historian atmosphere, this could not be more real to close off Friday night. They are currently releasing new material from their new album "Futha" that will be out on June 28th.
Hades // 00:45
We highly recommend watching either Belphegor or Heilung since they are playing at the same time. If it is your first time experiencing Heilung live you must commit 100% to that show or else the full take on it will not be truly fulfilled.
Switzerland's own folk metallers Eluveitie is on our schedule for the final day at hell. The band has just released their 8th full-length album "Ategnatos" in early April and is currently on the album tour. Their live performances involve almost every instrument you can think of and an opportunity to dance.
Hades // 14:45
Since the beginning of Copenhell's rising Dimmu Borgir has been one of the most requested bands. After releasing their long-awaited album "Eonian" the band has been touring and is now making their way to hell. Be prepared for some Norwegian symphonic black metal. Hades // 22:15
Our most recommended band this year will be the melodic black metallers UADA from the United States. Releasing their second album "Cult of a Dying Sun" that was pure originality. Their atmosphere live is haunting and that is how everyone should be closing off their tenth year in hell.
Food & drinks
Food is usually something that changes each year but some of the food stands that have been at the area over the years will be serving Pork, pancakes and much more. The festival has announced that the Inferno-stand will be there again this year which means burritos with guacamole and meat, chili con carne or even nachos.
Drinks are available all over the festival area, so cold beer, soda or water is everywhere. If you are looking for drinks there is a special bar for that and they might have a special bloody drink for us this year.
Camping
This year Copenhell offers two camping areas - Copenhell camping Sønder Hoved and Copenhell camping Kløverparken.
Copenhell Camping Sønder Hoved:
This is the usual camping area that has been a part of the festival every year. This is also the camping area the closest to the festival gates and here there will be no changes compared to previous years. Copenhell Tenthouse camplets, Copenhell tents, tunnel tents or limited space for your own tent will be at this camping area to find.
Copenhell Camping Kløverparken:
This is the new and second camping area that has been added to the festival and is only located two kilometers from the festival gates. Here is brought tents and motorhomes or caravans located.
Both camping sites have showers but only the ones at Copenhell Camping Sønder Hoved are free. The camping site Kløverparken offers showers at a cost of DKK 30 for all guests from this site. Toilets are available on both camping sites.
NOTE: Festival tickets to Copenhell only give access to the festival site. Access to Copenhell Camping requires a camping ticket.
Copenhell Camping opens on Wednesday 19th of June at. 12:00 and closes on Sunday the 23rd of June at. 12:00.
